He has been active the San Diego and LA tech community for many years while he was at Microsoft. As someone who started using “social” networks before they were called that, Woody is an early adopter and trendspotter.

Dan is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the UCSD Springboard program and a co-chair of the Marketing Special Interest Group of CommNexus. The consummate entrepreneur, he serves as an advisor to a number of local start-ups and entrepreneurs as well as incubating and funding his own ideas!
